Duties

My main rôle is networking and computing support and system administration, and desktop and group videoconferencing support and liaison, for the Experimental Particle Physics (PPE) Research Group.

I serve on the departmental IT Strategy and Implementation Group (ITSIG)

University Committees

I served on the Information Users Committee (IUC), and on several of the working parties which were formed after the restructuring.

National and International

I am a long-standing member of the Particle Physics Network Coordinating Group (PPNCG) with specific interests in network monitoring and performance, and more recently in videoconferencing.
I am also active in the UK HEP System Managers (SysMan) group and mailing list.
